For the good of others

As most of you know Promissa is hard at work on our sophomore album (first english album) in Los Angeles *happy dance*.  Well, as you may also know, I'm just recovering after a bad bad bad cold which has left me with a lingering cough which consequently makes it very challenging to hit my high notes.
Well, last saturday we were in the studio for a good eight hours recording backgrounds for our song "Made to Shine". (Can't wait to share it all of you!!)
When my turn came to record vocals for this song, it was sooooo hard to hit those high notes.  I mean seriously hard! Until I remembered that if I didn't put my gut into it that could potentially affect the delivery of the message the song intents to bring  You see, I realized that I had no choice but to belt those notes out even if it killed me... for the good of others.  So every time a high note came, I would visualize the faces of all the people whose lives depended on that song's message to them.
You may think I'm kidding but that was all it took!

At the end of the day, we've all been called to do some things that may be difficult at times and maybe even unbearable, all to fulfill our calling and ultimately our purpose in life.  When those hard decisions face you, remember to do it for the good of others. Someone's life may depend on it.

That will give you the power to push through.  I promise!
Peace,
Milca
