A few weeks ago my husband and I took the kids to the snow to try snowboarding for the very first time. It looked so easy and so much fun!
After an hour of getting all the stuff on we finally hit the slopes. And boy oh boy, I couldn't stay up for one second. I would try to stand and before I was able to look up I was seating on ice once again.
To paint a better picture, we got to the slopes at around 10am but by the time we left (8pm) I was already going down the slopes without falling every second. I was still falling but I was able to enjoy a few seconds before hitting the ice :)
All this to say, that in life we go through a lot of icy slopes. Must of the time we feel like quitting like I did. Every time I would fall and feel the painful hard ice on my rear I would say " I'm DONE" but then I would think and realize that if I didnt stick to my course I would never learn and would miss the fun.
Success is being able to get up as many times as you fall in spite of the pain and the frustration.
I don't know what area in your life you need to keep getting up and trying at but I'll tell you something, if you keep getting up the day will come when you will look back and say "I'm Glad I never quit!"
Stick to your course and find success ;)

I would love to say this is a picture of me but that would be dishonest (lol). This is a picture of what I know could one day be if I stick to my course and don't quit :) - Cynthia
