Let's be RELEVANT

So it’s the new year and for some reason I’ve started it thinking a lot about the concept of being “relevant”, so I checked the meaning of the word in Wikipedia and this is what I found... “something that increases the likelihood of accomplishing a specific goal or task”.  I love it! This is such a clear definition of what we’re all called to be.. RELEVANT!

As world changers, we are called to increase the likelihood of the world becoming a better place by... ending human trafficking, ending bullying, ending world hunger, loving one another, sharing the good news of Jesus, being a light, sharing grace, being kinder, loving the unloved.
I'd like to think that when you and I walk into a situation it automatically changes.  No matter how big or small our influence, we can ALWAYS “increase the likelihood” of change for the better.

So as we go about our minutes, hours, days, months and years let us live a RELEVANT life by being intentional about our ability to change the world one person at a time, one smile at a time, one prayer at a time.

Let’s be RELEVANT! :)

RELEVANT side note: Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.  Let's expose this evil by learning about and talking about it.  Think about it, the more people learn about it, the less it can be kept a secret and the less people can get away with it.
