More than just a vision board we need a VISION!

I love the idea of vision boards! A way to see what you want for yourself and believe for it before it happens.  It's kind of like a physical interpretation of faith.

As the end of the year nears, you see more and more people discussing and building their vision boards which I think is great!  However, I believe that more than just a vision board, we need an actual vision.  A clear understanding of not only the physical things we want but those things we want to accomplish.  What kind of mark do I want to leave in the world when I'm gone?  What type of influence do I want to have?  What purpose am I here to fulfill?

Now I know these are very difficult questions to answer on own.  I hear you! So why not go directly to the Vision Giver? Yes! Ask Him what His plan is for your life.  It's a simple as that.  When we're open to what it is He wants to use us for and are willing to walk the walk and establish His kingdom here whatever that may look like for each of us, the rest will come.  As Christine Caine said a few weeks back "Ambition can drive you, but destiny DRAWS you".

So for this new year, before you build your awesome vision board 2012, be sure to check in with the Vision Giver and save yourself some time.  After that, build the biggest board you've ever imagined and walk and believe for it!
