Have you ever heard the expression "Take it all in"? It's typically told to someone who's experiencing a high moment be it personal, professional or even emotional. "Take it all in" can sometimes be told to the bride about to walk down the isle, the graduate about to walk across the stage to receive a diploma, a presidential candidate after winning an election or an artist about to receive an award. Tom Hanks told Oprah "Take it all in" during the first of the last three shows of her TV host career as thousands honored her hard work and dedication.
But sometimes I wonder if we take the time to "Take it all in" when spending time with our loved ones, or enjoying a good laugh, or going for a walk in the park, or even while sharing a good long kiss with the one we love.
I realize there is so much more to take in during our everyday lives than during the grand moments.
So, today I encourage you to look around and take it all in for life is short and tomorrow is never guaranteed.
Peace,
Milca
