Shelter in the storm

I'm currently a New Englander, though my heart sometimes resides in LA (shout out!).
Being a New Englander has been tough this winter because we have been hit with quite the load of snow.
And though the drives are really tough and parents are going crazy with all the school cancelations, there's a feeling you can only experience during these freezing times... ahhhhhh, the feeling of getting home, putting on your winter slippers, getting some hot chocolate and watching the snow fall from inside,  all warm and cozy.
As I write this, I can't help but to think about life and the many times I have experience this feeling while facing any particular storm; financial, emotional, you name it.
We have shelter from the storm in the arms of the one who is bigger than all - Our father.

Put on you slippers, get some hot chocolate and rest in the comfort of His arm.  You everlasting shelter.

Peace,
Milca
