It was quite different from what I'm used to. Instead of tears of sadness there were tears of joy. The air was filled with gratitude over the life lived and the legacy left behind. People spoke about how their lives were affected by this person. Wow! It was incredible how this person literally changed the world one smile at a time.
This made me wonder... what will they say about me when my time comes? Will they speak about the steps of faith I took and the doors I walked through with boldness? Will they talk about the many touched and changed lives? Will they speak about my legacy or will they stand in silence? As Brendon Burchard says "Did I live, did I love, did I matter?"
Today I have an opportunity to start planting seeds that will give fruit when I'm gone. Words of empowerment spoken into someone's life that will change them forever. Hugs that will heal.
So as I close this note consider... what will they say about you?
